A better product boundary
Why this project exists
A better product boundary
Many online purity tests return a dramatic number while hiding how answers are handled or where an average came from. We built a quieter alternative: 100 original behavior-specific questions, ten category counts, equal-weight scoring, and contextual notes that do not pretend the total is psychology.
The site is for reflection and conversation, not for ranking people. A person's opportunity, culture, age, privacy, memory, and willingness to disclose can all affect the result. We deliberately avoid anonymous testimonials and demographic averages that cannot be audited.
- All individual answers stay in the browser.
- The scoring formula is visible before and after the test.
- Safety claims link to public or primary sources.
- The site states its 18+ audience and nonclinical scope.
Specific, neutral, and reviewable
How editorial decisions are made
Specific, neutral, and reviewable
Questions describe observable experiences rather than personality traits. We use neutral wording, separate consensual adult experience from health context, and avoid treating victimization as a moral failure. Higher-risk patterns trigger educational resources, but every item still follows the transparent one-point formula users expect from this category.
Sources are selected for the claim they support. Historical association is tied to a Rice University archive record; sexual-health information points to CDC guidance; alcohol emergencies point to NIAAA; consent language points to RAINN; digital-image guidance points to the FTC. We record the review date and do not convert those sources into a clinical endorsement of this quiz.
- No Rice University logo or claim of official status.
- No verbatim competitor question bank.
- No hidden weighting or population percentile.
- No collection of answers for marketing profiles.
