These terms govern use of the Test Rice Purity website. By using the adult checklist, you acknowledge its limited purpose, local-data design, and independent status.

The checklist is for adults 18+

The checklist is for adults 18+

The test contains explicit questions about sexual activity, alcohol, drugs, legal consequences, and digital intimacy. It is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. Do not use the test to solicit intimate disclosures from a minor or to bypass age-appropriate education and professional care.

Participation must be voluntary. Do not pressure a partner, friend, student, employee, applicant, or community member to complete the test, reveal individual answers, or share a result. A refusal to participate is not evidence about anyone's history.

What the score means

Entertainment and reflection only

The score equals 100 minus the number of Yes answers. It is not a medical test, mental-health assessment, risk diagnosis, legal opinion, consent determination, or measure of morality. Equal weighting deliberately preserves the familiar quiz logic but cannot represent severity or context.

Health and safety links are general educational resources. They do not replace emergency services, medical care, licensed counseling, legal advice, or an individualized assessment. If someone is unconscious, cannot be awakened, or has abnormal breathing, seek local emergency help rather than relying on a quiz result.

Respect privacy and consent

You may use the test for personal, noncommercial reflection and may share your own result through the provided controls. Do not attempt to extract another person's local answers, impersonate another user, distribute malicious challenge links, interfere with site operation, or use the product to shame, harass, threaten, or discriminate.

A result card or challenge link should be shared only when you choose. Anyone with a complete challenge URL may be able to view the encrypted score in the application. Do not publish another person's score without permission, and never treat receiving an intimate image or result as permission for broader distribution.

An MVP can change

The service may be corrected, revised, interrupted, or discontinued. We do not guarantee search ranking, uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every browser, or that a social platform will preserve its composer behavior. Local browser settings can prevent storage, clipboard, Canvas, encryption, or native sharing features.

Material changes should update the effective date. Questions about these terms can be sent to testricepurity@gmail.com. Do not include intimate answers when contacting us. If any provision is not enforceable in a particular jurisdiction, the remaining provisions should continue as far as applicable.

Five careful score readings

These bands translate a total into an item count without pretending to be population norms, percentiles, diagnoses, or moral grades.

90–100

Mostly uncharted

You marked 0–10 of the listed experiences. That can reflect age, opportunity, preference, privacy, or memory; it is not evidence of superior character.

75–89

Some chapters opened

You marked 11–25 experiences across the checklist. The category pattern is more informative than the total alone.

Is a high Rice Purity Test score good?

No score is inherently good or bad. A high score only means fewer listed experiences were marked Yes. It can reflect preference, opportunity, age, memory, or willingness to disclose.

Is this the official Rice University test?

No. Test Rice Purity is an independent website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Rice University. We do not use Rice University logos or claim official status.

Is the Rice Purity Test scientifically validated?

No. The familiar total is an equal-weight lifetime checklist, not a validated psychological scale. This version adds transparent methodology and evidence-based safety links without calling the score clinical science.

Are my answers stored or sent anywhere?

The quiz logic runs in your browser. Progress is stored only in localStorage on your device until you clear it. This MVP does not send individual answers or scores to a server or analytics service.

Why are there no average scores by age or country?

Published quiz sites rarely disclose a representative sample, recruitment method, location, date, exclusions, or weighting. Without those details, a precise average can mislead, so we do not present one as fact.

Can someone under 18 take it?

This version is designed for adults because it contains explicit sexual and substance-use questions. It is not an age-appropriate youth assessment.
